and the deathmatch maps Templecore and
                          Chasmcore.

Description : DooM II Deathmatch wad. This is my third
deathmatch effort.. This map is less than
half the size of Templecore and took me 2
days of steady editing to finish. I decided
not to put the rocket launcher, plasma gun or
bfg in this map. There are no secret areas
and the exit is opened from a remote
                          switch to prevent accidental exiting.
The lion switch opens the door...
where the exit switch is hidden (in room
with the double barrel shotgun) :)
I made new textures and flats so none of
the original DooM II textures are present.
I manipulated 2 doom sprites. I changed the
stand on the tall red torch sprite and I cut
the burning barrel sprite down to size.....
You can jump out of any of the lava pits in
the map or you can use the sections that double as lifts. They might not look like
                          lifts but they're there!

Special Thanks to : id Software for creating the best of games.
It is cool to know that Carmack and crew are
now working on a New Doom game (DooM III)!
Thanx also to Matt Tagliaferri for Doomcad5.1
and Hank Leukart for writing the Doom Hackers
Guide. Thanx to Marc Rousseau for ZenNode
and to Jive, who helped me figure it out! Thanx to

Thanx also to Ferrari for the exit idea info.

DooM Port : Lavapitt Temple is 100% Legacy compatible and was
playtested using DooM Legacy. Should run
fine in ZDoom or any of the other ports, since no
xtra features or fancy shite were added. Though jumpimg
isn't required it sure does help for going through the
windows or for getting out of the lava faster than using
                          the lifts..
